The Patient Performance Institute engages in research with provider partners and other organizations to enhance knowledge and analysis regarding improving patient outcomes.   Consistent with PPI’s mission, such research efforts are typically founded in principles of patient-centered care, and examine key non-clinical issues addressed in the Patient Performance Enhancement Test (PET) tool such as health literacy, communication strategies, emotional considerations, etc.  PPI works with its research partners to seek federal, state and private grant funding to support its research initiatives.
